Pentagon Creates Office Dedicated to Not Acknowledging Strikes in Advance
A new bureaucratic division reportedly drafts denial paperwork before any bombs are dropped, ensuring maximum efficiency in future non-acknowledgments.
Officials confirmed the quiet formation of a new interagency body tasked exclusively with preparing formal non-acknowledgments ahead of any military action, rather than after, in what one internal memo described as a "proactive posture on strategic silence."
The office reportedly maintains a rotating staff whose job is to draft denial language for strikes not yet scheduled, so that whenever an operation does occur, a fully worded non-acknowledgment is already sitting in a folder marked "as needed."
"We used to react to questions about strikes. Now we simply have the non-response ready before the target is chosen," said a spokesperson who declined to specify which strikes the remark referred to, before excusing themselves to file a preemptive denial about the meeting itself.
The office's charter reportedly states that its sole deliverable is the non-acknowledgment itself; whether a strike occurred, where, or against what is treated as a separate matter outside its jurisdiction.
Asked whether the office had any comment on the UN experts' findings regarding the Minab school and Lamerd sports complex, a representative said the office does not comment on individual incidents, only on the general practice of not commenting on individual incidents.
